I’m a first year PhD Student in EECS at MIT and part of the Eric and Wendy Schmidt Center at the Broad Institute, where I am fortunate enough to be advised by Caroline Uhler. I’m broadly interested in developing machine learning methods to guide discoveries about biological processes and mechanisms that can be used for downstream healthcare applications. Before coming to MIT, I did my undergrad at UC Berkeley, where I worked on regularization of deep neural networks for protein fitness prediction under the guidance of Jennifer Listgarten. I also worked on perception for a ping-pong playing robot, advised by Shankar Sastry.
